John Stevenson is a Dallas native and an experienced attorney with a diversified transactional practice. As a member of Carrington Coleman’s Real Estate and Business Practice Groups, John represents clients, both locally and nationally, in the acquisition, disposition, development, financing and leasing of commercial real estate, including raw land, shopping malls and retail pad sites, industrial assets, and master planned communities.

As part of his finance practice, John routinely represents lenders and borrowers in various loan and credit transactions, including asset-based and working capital loans, construction loans, mezzanine financing, loan workouts and defaults. John also has extensive experience advising business clients, private equity funds and individual investors in general business and corporate legal matters, including entity and investment partnership formations, contract drafting and negotiation, and business acquisitions.
