The Texas Young Lawyers Association launched a new project, “And Justice for All: Preventing Convictions Through Education” on April 1st. Lyndon Bittle and Neil Burger were each interviewed for their work in reversing the conviction of Manuel Velez, a construction worker from Brownsville who had been wrongfully convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death before CCSB agreed to represent him pro bono.
